When hardware is distributed across many locations, disposing of it becomes challenging.
We know you don’t want to fly your IT staff all across the country just to get rid of servers. Thankfully, you don’t have to. we have developed flexible logistics solutions. Edge server decommissioning doesn’t need to be a hassle.
The Process
Distributed Network Discovery
We have network discovery tools for flat or heavily virtualized networks. After discovery, we’ll verify the map of hardware across all geographic locations.
Coordinate logistics
With a complete map, we’ll build out a plan for the project’s logistics. We will establish access points, staff on site, contact details, policies, dependencies, and all other necessary parameters for each edge node location. With a completed project plan, we can discuss terms and begin edge server decommissioning.
Begin decommissioning edge servers
Our teams will begin decommissioning and removing servers from the network For end-of-life equipment, we will destroy data according to your preference of erasure, drive shredding, degaussing, or crushing.

Don’t let decommissioning hurt your reputation
Improper data center decommissioning can lead to data breaches and environmental damage—both adversaries to company growth. Learn how to eliminate risks with our free guide.
